Boston teen arrested in Roslindale armed robbery with sticker-decorated gun
A Boston teenager was arrested Monday in connection with an armed robbery in Roslindale, where the suspect's gun was described as silver with stickers attached. Police responded to the scene near Beechland Circle at about 6:13 p.m. after three victims reported being robbed at gunpoint. The victims told officers they were approached by a group of six to seven men, one of whom displayed the distinctive sticker-decorated firearm. The suspects took cash and a cell phone. Officers later spotted a man matching the description near Blue Ledge Drive and took him into custody, recovering a gun from his waistband. The suspect was identified as Xavian Alvarado, a 19-year-old Hyde Park resident. He faces charges including armed robbery, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity firearm, and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
