Boru Ramen and Sweet Society to open in former Copeland's space on Essen Lane

Boru Ramen and Sweet Society are relocating from Mid City to the former Copeland's/Batch 13 building on Essen Lane. They plan to move into the 7,500-square-foot space by mid-January. The building has been empty since early 2020, following Batch 13's move downtown. Copeland's closed in spring 2019. Both restaurants are owned by the Wong family, who also operate Ichiban, a sushi restaurant on Essen Lane. They had been located in the Electric Depot development since 2020.
