Border tensions made a family cancel Vaishno Devi trip

A family canceled their planned pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi due to escalating tensions at the border. The family cited the current situation as the reason for postponing their trip, with six other individuals from Rudrapur also being turned back from Jammu. Security measures have been increased, limiting the number of pilgrims allowed to visit. Reports indicate that only 150 devotees were able to visit the shrine on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The family plans to reschedule their pilgrimage when conditions improve.
