Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College in Hamirpur observed National Bone and Joint Day, led by Principal Dr. Ramesh Bharati, as part of the Indian Orthopedic Association's Bone and Joint Week 2026 campaign themed 'Healthy Bones, Healthy Joints, Healthy India'. Orthopedics department head Dr. Sanjay Kumar Thakur led awareness activities and technical sessions, highlighting that changing lifestyles have increased bone and joint problems. He advised regular exercise, balanced diet, proper posture, and timely check-ups for prevention. Medical Superintendent Dr. Deshraj Sharma discussed patient care and hospital administration. The event included medical experts, administrative officers, medical students, and nursing staff, with Dr. Bharati emphasizing the importance of bone and joint health.
