BNB rises 2.6% as RWA growth fuels push toward $740 resistance
BNB rose 2.6% to approximately $727 on September 17, recovering from an intraday low of $708.50, driven by new real-world asset (RWA) products and BNB Chain upgrades supporting buying activity. OpenEden expanded its tokenized fixed-income products, TBILL and HYBOND, to BNB Chain on September 17, providing access to tokenized US Treasury bills and short-term high-yield bonds. RWA value on BNB Chain reached about $5.69 billion, up from $510 million in September 2025, a gain exceeding 1,000% year-over-year. The Pasteur hard fork, live since August 25, introduced BEP 675, increasing network capacity with gas processed per block roughly 28% higher. BNB trades above its 20-day exponential moving average of $713.97, with upside targets at $739–$740, then $744 and $756, potentially reaching around $770 if resistance breaks. A daily close below $713.97 could weaken the recovery, pulling price back toward $708–$710 support. Futures open interest stood near $1.13 billion, with liquidations relatively small at about $446,000.
