Blazers shut out Pats while Silvertips dominate Giants in WHL action
Dylan Ernst led the Kamloops Blazers to a 6-0 victory over the Regina Pats, stopping all 31 shots. Nathan Behm scored twice, while the Blazers improved to 12-13-1. Regina has now lost five straight games. The Everett Silvertips defeated the Vancouver Giants 7-1, with Julius Miettinen scoring two goals. The Giants struggled on the power play, going 0-for-4, and allowed two short-handed goals. In other games, the Tri-City Americans edged the Wenatchee Wild 4-3, and the Seattle Thunderbirds won 3-2 in a shootout against the Victoria Royals. The Calgary Hitmen extended their win streak to five games with a 4-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings.
