Black Label Media to adapt 'The White Van' film
Black Label Media has acquired the film rights to Patrick Hoffman's crime novel, The White Van. Grant Singer will direct the adaptation, marking a collaboration between him and Hoffman. This follows Singer's successful Netflix debut, Reptile. The White Van tells the story of a young woman caught in a bank robbery scheme, pursued by a corrupt cop. The film will explore themes of crime and morality in San Francisco's underbelly. Black Label Media will produce the film, with Molly Smith, Rachel Smith, Thad Luckinbill, and Trent Luckinbill involved. The company is known for producing notable films like La La Land and Sicario.
