BJP reports 886 social welfare students fall ill in Telangana after Congress takeover

The Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reported that 886 social welfare students fell ill after the Congress government took power. They claimed food poisoning incidents occurred in 38 residential schools, highlighting concerns about government negligence. BJP General Secretary K. Venkateshwarlu stated that there have been 51 student deaths in the past year, including four from food poisoning. He criticized the government for not addressing these issues and for allegedly shielding corrupt officials. Venkateshwarlu also pointed out that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been preoccupied with election campaigning, neglecting his responsibilities in social welfare and education. He accused the previous government of similar failures in managing student welfare.
