Bitrig adds iPhone Duo support with interactive 3D simulator

Bitrig has added support for building and testing iPhone Duo apps, following Apple's release of Xcode 27.1 beta 1 last week. The update includes an interactive 3D simulator for developers. The simulator lets developers fold, tilt, rotate, and position the device to test app adaptability. New features include responding to the hinge with onHingeChange, using ArrangementView for hands-free tabletop layouts, and adding CameraCaptureAccessory for the outer display. Bitrig, which started as a vibe-coding app for SwiftUI, now offers a Mac app with the full Xcode toolchain. The platform supports managing multiple Xcode versions, allowing developers to test with the beta while still building releases with Xcode 27.
