Biomedical models hub launches with hundreds of thousands of human biology-based models

A new database, BimmoH, has launched, offering hundreds of thousands of human biology-based models to advance biomedical research and reduce animal testing. The Biomedical models Hub consolidates scientific articles using human-centric models like organ-on-a-chip and 3D cell cultures, enhancing research relevance and translatability. This EU initiative supports ethical biotech and the Three Rs principle for animal welfare, informing decisions from drug development to safety assessments.
