Biodiversity and habitats after disasters

Scientific Data is launching a new Collection calling for papers on tracking disaster-affected ecosystems to aid biodiversity recovery, assessment, and loss prevention. The Collection welcomes Data Descriptor submissions from all authors, not just invited ones. Submitted papers undergo standard peer review and will be published immediately upon acceptance, then grouped on the Collection homepage. Guest editors manage the Collection, and the journal's editors handle submissions with competing interests to ensure impartial review. The initiative is not funded by any sponsorship.
