Biden’s alias emails raise security concerns over foreign policy
Newly released archives show that former President Joe Biden used alias email addresses while vice president to communicate with his national security team. These emails, totaling over 1,200, include discussions on foreign policy and world leaders. The aliases, Robin Ware, JRB Ware, and Robert L. Peters, were used for emails sent from two Gmail accounts and one government account. Many emails are redacted and reference sensitive topics, including Iraq and Ukraine relations. This release follows a Freedom of Information Act request by the Southeastern Legal Foundation. Biden's use of aliases has drawn scrutiny, especially after past concerns regarding email security among government officials.
