Biden collaborates with FBI to investigate threats against lawmakers and Trump cabinet nominees

Democratic lawmakers, including Seth Magaziner from Rhode Island, reported bomb threats at their homes, with no explosives found. This follows similar threats against Trump’s nominees, including Pete Hegseth and Lee Zeldin. Swatting involves false reports to provoke a heavy police response, and it is increasingly used against public figures. Biden stated he plans to speak with Trump during the transition period.
