Best savings rates for Tagesgeld and fixed deposits in January 2026

Tagesgeld and fixed deposit rates have stabilized, with some slight increases, after a year of decline. Swedish bank Hoist Finance offers the highest fixed deposit rates for 24-month terms at 2.82%, while Maltese bank Multitude Bank leads in flexible Tagesgeld accounts with 2.90%. While overall rates are lower than a year ago, the European Central Bank's stable key interest rates have allowed banks to offer slightly better savings rates.
