Bengaluru's property tax one-time settlement scheme ends today with 200,000 participants

Bengaluru's property tax one-time settlement scheme ends today, November 30. The scheme allows property owners to pay taxes without penalties or interest. So far, about 200,000 out of 3.95 million defaulters have participated, falling short of BBMP's expectations. Starting December 1, property owners with unpaid taxes will face penalties and interest. To pay online, users can visit the BBMP website, enter property details, and choose a payment method. Manual payments can also be made via demand draft at designated offices. Additionally, BBMP will hold weekly revenue adalats every Wednesday to address citizen concerns. These meetings aim to improve engagement and resolve issues more efficiently.
