Bengaluru to Chennai travel time cut to two hours with new expressway

The Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway is set to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities from seven to eight hours to just two to two-and-a-half hours. This new highway will connect key towns and enhance trade and tourism. The expressway will pass through areas including Hoskote, Malur, and Arakkonam. It will also feature four spur routes, three of which have been approved, improving access to surrounding regions. Currently, travelers use three main routes, with the Hosur and Krishnagiri route being the most popular. The new expressway aims to streamline travel and support economic growth in the region.
