Bengaluru and parts of Karnataka brace for moderate rainfall as cyclone Fengal weakens

Bengaluru and parts of Karnataka are experiencing cloudy weather, with light to moderate rainfall expected over the next 24 hours. This is due to cyclone Fengal, which is moving towards Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. The India Meteorological Department reports that Fengal is weakening as it approaches landfall. While earlier forecasts predicted widespread rainfall, the situation has changed, leading to a more moderate outlook for Karnataka. Temperatures in Bengaluru will remain around 26° C during the day and drop to 17° C at night. Moderate to heavy rainfall is still anticipated in Mandya, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar on December 2.
