Belgorod officials report five dead, 14 wounded in Ukrainian attacks

Five people were killed and 14 wounded in the Belgorod region over the past day in attacks by Ukrainian forces, according to acting governor Alexander Shuvaev. Shuvaev said the deaths occurred in the Shebekino district and included ambulance workers. Nine of the wounded are hospitalized, with one in serious condition. Ukrainian forces attacked the region 148 times across 15 districts, using artillery, rocket systems, and drones. Air defense shot down or suppressed 123 unmanned aerial vehicles.
