Beckman cheer team wins national championship in Florida

Beckman's competitive cheer team has achieved a remarkable season, winning the CIF Southern Section, CIF State, and a national championship. They triumphed in the Large Varsity Non-Tumbling Division I at the UCA national championships in Orlando, Florida. This year, the team also secured the CIF State title in the Non-Tumbling Large School division and the CIF-SS Division 4AA championship. Coach Jason Vaca highlighted the team's success, noting that many members started with no prior cheer experience. Vaca emphasized the team's academic achievements, with over 90% maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. He described winning the UCA title as a significant accomplishment, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the athletes.
