BBC acquires Australian adaptation of Ghosts sitcom

The BBC has acquired the Australian adaptation of the popular British sitcom Ghosts. The eight-part series, Ghosts Australia, will soon air on BBC Three and stream on BBC iPlayer. It follows a couple who inherit a manor haunted by various spirits. The original British Ghosts ran for five seasons and received critical acclaim. A film adaptation of the UK version is also set for release in October 2026.
