Bashir leads Monmouth to victory over Charleston 84-73

Abdi Bashir Jr. scored 22 points, leading Monmouth to an 84-73 victory over Charleston. This win improved Monmouth's record to 4-13 and 2-2 in the Coastal Athletic Association. Madison Durr added 18 points and six assists, while Dok Muordar contributed 14 points. Charleston, now 13-4 and 3-1 in the conference, had a five-game winning streak ended. Monmouth trailed at halftime but took control with a 9-0 run early in the second half. Deywilk Tavarez led Charleston with 20 points and nine rebounds.
