Bari reopens Via Argiro intersection with Via Dante after pedestrian-friendly redesign

The intersection of Via Argiro with Via Dante in Bari has reopened to traffic following asphalt and pedestrian crossing renovations, marking another step in the street's transformation into a 14,000-square-meter urban promenade. The work included leveling new stone slabs to eliminate height differences, making the route easier for pedestrians and people with mobility issues. The Via Dante stretch between Via Melo and Via Andrea da Bari is now passable for cars again. Intersections with Via Putignani, Via Piccinni, and Via Principe Amedeo are currently under construction. The broader project also includes new sidewalks, oleander tree planting, and complete redevelopment of crossings with Via Calefati and Via Putignani.
