Bareilly man arrested for posting hate messages on social media

A 30-year-old man named Maizan Raza was arrested in Bareilly for posting hate messages on social media. His posts included threats against Hindu women and the Ram temple, as well as targeting the chief minister. Raza was apprehended after a tip-off from Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader KK Shankdhar. Police acted quickly, arresting him within 12 hours of the report. He has been charged with promoting hatred and offending religious sentiments.
