Balmain's largest estate, Ewenton House, remains on the market after four months with a $27.5 million price tag. The heritage-listed sandstone mansion, built between 1854 and 1872, sits on 2,206 square meters of waterfront land and features five bedrooms, modern amenities, and landscaped gardens. The property, which has survived fires and vandalism, last sold in 1991 and its sale could set a new inner west house price record.
