Bald eagle Jackie lays three eggs, fans eagerly watch

Bald eagle Jackie has laid three eggs this year, with her partner Shadow helping to incubate them. This follows two years where their eggs did not hatch. Fans are eagerly watching a live cam for signs of hatching. The first egg was laid on January 22, with two more following shortly after. Hatching typically occurs around 35 days after laying, but Jackie and Shadow's eggs have historically hatched around 38-39 days. Bald eagle populations have increased significantly, now numbering about 316,000.
