Bahuroopi National Theatre Festival kicks off with street performances in Mysuru
The Bahuroopi National Theatre Festival has started in Mysuru, featuring street performances by various theatre groups. The festival was inaugurated on January 11 by MCC Commissioner Ashaad-Ur-Rahman Shariff, with other officials in attendance. Street plays are scheduled across multiple locations in Mysuru over the next few days, including Chikka Gadiyara and Church Circle. The performances aim to promote the upcoming national theatre festival. The main festival will begin on January 14, with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah set to inaugurate the event. Other activities include a book and handicrafts expo and a painting expo, featuring various dignitaries.
