Productive sectors in Bahia will present a five-point agenda to gubernatorial candidates ACM Neto and Jerônimo Rodrigues on Tuesday, August 4, in Salvador, aiming to boost the state's competitiveness in the next term. The document, built by Faeb, Fecomércio-BA, Fieb, and Fetrabase, proposes measures for the 2026-2030 mandate, including transforming education into a competitiveness pillar, modernizing infrastructure, and implementing a state security plan for the business environment. Additional proposals focus on simplifying the business climate and legal certainty, plus modernizing environmental licensing and water resource management. Opposition candidate ACM Neto stated that, if elected, he wants dialogue with productive sectors for a more prosperous Bahia.
