Azerbaijan suspends gas supplies to Serbia due to technical issues

Gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Serbia have been suspended, according to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. The halt is due to force majeure and affects 1.7 million cubic meters of gas that Serbia relied on daily. Serbia plans to start using its gas reserves as it awaits the resumption of supplies. Vucic expressed hope that gas flows could restart in one to two months. This interruption follows a similar suspension of gas supplies to Bulgaria. The issue is linked to technical problems at Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz Alfa platform, which has also impacted gas exports.
