Authorities in Egypt's Beheira governorate seized an unlicensed print shop in Damanhour for counterfeiting school textbooks, following the governor's directive to intensify market inspection campaigns. The raid, conducted by the Supply and Internal Trade Directorate, confiscated nine printing machines, three computers, 18 containers of colored ink, and large quantities of counterfeit copies intended for illegal sale. Legal procedures were initiated against the shop. A separate campaign in Delengat recorded five violations, including 400 kilograms of expired basmati rice, seven tons of unverified agricultural fertilizers, and undocumented cigarettes.
