Austrian authorities uncovered an international network of shell companies used for fraud, arresting four suspects. The network, involving around 200 shell companies, allegedly defrauded the state of approximately 4.8 million Euros through VAT fraud and misuse of social benefits. Investigations are ongoing against 35 individuals with connections to Pakistan, Syria, Afghanistan, and Morocco.
