Australian man finds valuable gold nugget with detector

A man using a metal detector in Australia discovered a gold nugget worth approximately 146,000 euros, stunning him. The find has become a frequently shared story. The man, who chose to remain anonymous, located the nugget in the "Golden Triangle," a historic gold rush area. He took the find to a gold valuation shop, where the owner initially estimated the value at around 60,000 euros. The nugget weighed over 4.6 kilograms, with 2.6 kilograms of gold. While a significant discovery, it wasn't the largest gold nugget ever found in Australia, as a larger one was found in 1869.
