Atlantic City Expressway offers free tolls for one hour

Drivers on the Atlantic City Expressway will experience a one-hour toll-free period Friday at the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza to kick off Memorial Day weekend. The free tolls, sponsored by Chickie's & Pete's, will occur from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. as part of a day-long "100 Days of Summer Party" at the Farley Service Plaza. The event will feature free food samples, live radio broadcasts, and various vendors. The event, held at mile marker 21.3, also includes demonstrations, conservation programs, and animal visits, with participation from numerous local businesses and food trucks.
