At least 773 killed in Goma as fighting with M23 rebels escalates in DR Congo
At least 773 people have died in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, due to escalating clashes with M23 rebels. The fighting has intensified as the rebels, supported by Rwandan troops, captured Goma and advanced toward Bukavu. The Congolese military has faced heavy losses, with hundreds of soldiers killed.
