Army chief highlights shooting skills at Pakistan Army Rifle Association meet in Jhelum
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the importance of shooting in military training during the closing ceremony of the 44th Pakistan Army Rifle Association meet in Jhelum. The event featured over 2,000 shooters from various military branches. The Pakistan Army won three inter-services matches and secured the overall Championship Trophy. Naik Waseem Ahmed Khan received the President’s Cup National Challenge match trophy, while the Pakistan Air Force won the Prime Minister Skills at Arms Big Bore National Challenge. Sepoy Aftab Ahmed of the Punjab Regiment was honored with ‘The Master at Arms’ Trophy for top performance in military shooting. The Best Shot Match Trophy was awarded to Lance Dafadar Muhammad Imran and Havaldar Fateh Ullah Khan for their achievements in different groups.
