Argentina's Ministry of Human Capital offers discounts and reimbursements for retirees

Argentina's Ministry of Human Capital launched a program offering discounts and reimbursements for retirees. This initiative aims to boost purchasing power for over 7 million retirees and pensioners. The program includes significant discounts at major supermarket chains, with some offering up to 20% off specific items. Retirees using Banco Nación will receive an additional 5% reimbursement on supermarket purchases, capped at $20,000 monthly. Additionally, Banco Nación introduced an inflation-protected virtual wallet with daily interest on balances up to $500,000. Banco Galicia also offers benefits like discounts and a savings account with a 33.2% annual interest rate.
