Arasikere woman alleges fraud during ritual, gold chain missing

A woman has accused individuals from two villages of fraud after a ritual, claiming her gold chain is missing. The complaint alleges the accused performed a puja at her home last year, asking for a 27.2-gram gold chain as part of the ritual, which was to remain in a sealed box for 45 days. After discovering the chain missing and being told it was pledged, the woman filed a police report alleging she was cheated in the name of religion. An investigation is ongoing.
