Aramco and ADNOC expand operations in Asia to capture rising oil demand

Saudi Aramco and Abu Dhabi's ADNOC are expanding their operations in Asia to capture growing oil demand, particularly in the petrochemicals sector. This marks a shift as they focus on securing future markets amid changing energy trends. In recent years, Aramco has made several deals in Asia, including partnerships in China and Pakistan. These agreements aim to enhance their downstream presence and provide additional export routes for Saudi crude oil. ADNOC is also pursuing projects in China, including a collaboration with Wanhua Chemical Group for a new polyolefin complex. Both companies are positioning themselves to benefit from increased oil demand in India and other Asian markets.
