Aqara unveils universal smart lights for indoor and outdoor use at IFA 2026

Aqara unveiled a new line of indoor and outdoor smart lights at IFA 2026, supporting Thread, Zigbee, and Matter for broad compatibility with major ecosystems like Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa. The lineup includes floor lamps, downlights, LED strips, and outdoor string lights. The products feature advanced specs such as 16-bit chips, 18 independently controllable zones, and color temperatures from 2,000K to 9,000K. Some models offer music sync, power-off memory, and natural language scene setup in the Aqara app. Outdoor lights are weather-resistant and can automate based on schedules or sensor events. Aqara also introduced Aqara Builder, a community platform for sharing automations with AI-assisted suggestions. Official pricing has not yet been announced, which limits a full assessment of the products' value.
