Apple Valley police investigate a man's suspicious death

Apple Valley police are investigating a death after a man was found with a chest injury on a sidewalk early Sunday morning. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police responded to a call at approximately 3:12 a.m. near the intersection of Pennock Avenue and 138th Street. Authorities are asking residents with exterior cameras to review footage from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. The victim's identity will be released later by the medical examiner. Anyone with information or camera footage is urged to contact the Apple Valley Police Department.
