Apple unveils new display options for Vision Pro in visionOS 2.2 beta

Apple has released the first developer beta of visionOS 2.2, introducing new wide and ultrawide display options for Vision Pro users. These layouts allow for more efficient multitasking, enabling users to run multiple apps simultaneously without reducing window size. The ultrawide setting offers a display experience comparable to using two 4K monitors side by side. This enhancement improves productivity by maximizing available screen space, although users still cannot mirror multiple Mac windows on the Vision Pro. Additionally, the update enhances display quality, providing crisper visuals and improved audio playback directly from the Vision Pro. The full version of visionOS 2.2 is expected to launch in early December alongside macOS Sequoia 15.2 and iOS 18.2.
