Apple set to unveil updated MacBook Air models with M4 chip early in 2025

Apple is expected to announce updated 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models featuring the new M4 chip early in 2025. This follows the recent release of macOS Sequoia 15.2, which hinted at the new models. The updated MacBook Airs will likely include a 10-core CPU and GPU, improved RAM of 16GB, and a 12-megapixel camera with Center Stage and Desk View features. They are also expected to have three Thunderbolt 4 ports and support for two external displays. No significant design changes are anticipated, as the last redesign occurred in 2022. The new models are already in production, with a possible release in January or February.
