Apple releases tvOS 18.2 update with new projector features and Snoopy screensavers

Apple has released the tvOS 18.2 update for Apple TV, enhancing projector performance with new aspect ratio options. Users can now choose from seven ratios, including 21:9, and an automatic mode that adjusts based on HDMI input. The update is designed for anamorphic-lens projectors but also works with many ultrawide PC monitors. Additionally, it features new Snoopy-themed wallpapers, accessible on Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen) or later. While the update is available now, new Apple Originals and TV+ screensavers are delayed until 2025 and will likely be included in a future update. Users can manually install the update through the Settings app.
