Apple plans touch-screen Macs, smart-home hub, and 14 more products

Apple plans to release over a dozen new products through the first half of 2027, including touch-screen MacBooks, a smart-home hub, and lower-end iPhones, marking what executives call its most ambitious roadmap ever. The lineup includes a square smart-home display with Siri AI, touch-screen MacBook Pros with OLED displays, and updates to iPads, iMacs, and Apple TVs. New CEO John Ternus is leading the push to catch up in artificial intelligence, with devices featuring an improved Siri that understands context. Later releases include a MacBook Air with the M6 chip, an iPad Pro with cooling upgrades, and iPhone 18 models shifting from fall to spring launches. Products slated for late 2027 include smart glasses, AirPods with cameras, and a redesigned Apple Watch.
