Apple faces development delays as iOS 18 issues impact iOS 19 rollout

Apple is facing challenges with the development of iOS 18, which launched in September without its key feature, Apple Intelligence. This feature was added in the iOS 18.1 update in October but lacked many promised capabilities and language support. The recent iOS 18.2 update has expanded language support, but issues with iOS 18 have led Apple to redirect engineers from the upcoming iOS 19 project to assist with current problems. This shift may delay features planned for iOS 19. As a result, iOS 19 is expected to have a staggered rollout of features, similar to iOS 18. Some features originally intended for the initial release of iOS 19 may now be postponed.
