Apollo Tyres launches agroforestry project to plant 25,000 trees in Tirupati

Apollo Tyres has started an agroforestry project in Tirupati district, planning to plant over 25,000 trees on 55 acres of farmland. This initiative aims to support 55 farmers' families. The project includes fruit-bearing trees like mango and coconut, as well as timber trees. It was launched on January 10, 2025, in Rachapalem village. Additionally, Apollo Tyres is promoting mixed cropping, encouraging farmers to grow seasonal crops like watermelon and groundnut to enhance their income.
