Anycubic to launch foldable portable 3D printer soon

Anycubic is set to launch an innovative foldable 3D printer soon. This portable model is designed to be compact, folding down to just 75mm in height. Despite its small size, it can print models up to 460mm tall. The printer features five rotational axes, which allow for versatile printing options. It's easy to transport, resembling a briefcase when folded. Additionally, it includes a dedicated storage solution for filament, keeping materials organized. The design is sleek, with a modern gray-silver finish. The print bed is likely made from glass or a coated material, aiding in print adhesion and removal. Its cooling system helps prevent filament jams, while the filament spool is conveniently stored in a drawer-style compartment. Users will appreciate the touchscreen interface for easy navigation of settings. The printer offers various connectivity options, including USB-A and USB-C ports. This model has already won the iF Design Award for 2025. However, Anycubic has not announced a specific release date yet. The printer aims to change expectations for portable 3D printing.
