Anker launches MindBase home AI hub with local storage

Chinese tech company Anker is consolidating its five brands under one name and launching MindBase, a home AI hub designed to manage smart devices and store data locally. The company announced the strategic shift at its Berlin event. MindBase will act as a central brain for the smart home, connecting Anker and third-party products. It runs AI locally, recognizing family members and enabling automated actions like unlocking doors, with up to 48 TB of local storage for photos and videos. The announcement coincides with Anker's first standalone store opening in Berlin. The company also showcased new products, including robot mowers, AI-equipped headphones, and plans to enter hearing aids and breast pumps, with further store openings to be announced.
