Angola's gross credit to the non-financial sector grew 15.6% in April to 9 trillion kwanzas, equivalent to 8.33 billion euros. The private sector received the largest share, 84.1%, with a total of 7.3 trillion kwanzas, an increase of 15.1% compared to April 2025. Public sector debt amounted to 1.4 trillion kwanzas. Credit to the real economy sector rose 17.9%, driven by the extractive industry, followed by manufacturing and agriculture.
