Angarsk maniac details brutal murder methods in Irkutsk region

Russia's most prolific serial killer, Mikhail Popkov, confessed to the brutal murder of a woman, detailing his methods. Popkov, known as the "Angarsk maniac," admitted to strangling and then dismembering a victim with an axe after an argument. He is linked to 89 murders. The confession pertains to the 2011 killing of a school cleaner. Popkov committed murders in the Irkutsk region from the early 1990s until his arrest in 2012.
