Andrew Garfield hasn't watched Tom Holland's latest Spider-Man or The Odyssey yet

Andrew Garfield revealed he has not yet watched Tom Holland in either Spider-Man: Brand New Day or The Odyssey, despite both being major box-office successes, and said he will reach out to Holland only after seeing the films. Garfield made the admission at the Los Angeles premiere of his own film, The Uprising, on September 2, telling Variety he wanted to avoid being disingenuous by congratulating Holland without having seen his work. Both Holland films arrived in theaters in July and ranked as the two highest-grossing films of 2026 at the time. Garfield, who played Peter Parker in two Amazing Spider-Man films and returned alongside Holland and Tobey Maguire in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, also reflected on the character's enduring appeal and addressed speculation about another Spider-Man appearance without confirming a role in Avengers: Doomsday.
